Over the past 20 or so years I’ve had the pleasure of expanding my design work into larger projects, including buildings and interiors.  I have worked in collaboration with architects and interior designers or have assumed full responsibility for the project.  Most of my efforts, after discussions with clients, are focused on generating interesting and often unusual ideas that I bring to life with sketching and simple drafted plans.  Once approved, these ideas are fully developed into shop drawings for builders, large mill shops and small custom wood, metal and stone operations.   I oversee all the production through to completion, working closely with the fabricator and installer.

Most of this work has been residential,  with some commercial clients, like the Boston Golf Club.   My design requests can be as simple as an outdoor shower or as demanding as entire buildings with bathrooms, kitchens, entry doors, floors, wall paneling, bars, offices, bedrooms, terraces, stair cases and more.

I love it all, especially when working and collaborating with other creative thinkers and builders.  It takes a real team to make these projects sing…
